Drawings of stills from footage I’ve taken for a long-term documentary project about body suspension. I’ve had the pleasure of working with two kind and professional suspension crews, Cenobyte and NGN (no affiliation) since the summer of 2023. In my experience, drawing is a body response to amazement. An act of devotion, collapsing the distance between my form and another. I consider these drawings collaborations between myself and the wonderful folks I work with, these artists of the body who push its limits conceptually through pushing them literally.
